Minehead Weeks 1 & 2:

Space Academy

5… 4… 3… 2… 1… blast off and enrol in the Space Academy! The -57’s will be travelling up, up into space(well ok, not quite!) and looking back down to earth and seeing all the good things God has done for us by using the Bible and exploring our theme of the week ‘God’s brilliant idea’. Major Tom will keep the Space Cadets and Pod Leaders in order as we seek out the things of God, before we all graduate from the Space Academy at the end of the week.

Programme Leader: Margaret Lilley

Margaret works for Scripture Union as a leader of the South West Regional Team. The team trains and supports volunteers doing children, youth and family ministry in churches and schools. She is married to Chris, has 2 grown up children and enjoys power walking, gardening eating good food with friends and getting lost in a good book, her new found friend is a Kindle!

 

Minehead Week 3:

Whizz Kids

This week our theme is all about people and the church.  Whizz Kids will have all the usual fun as they learn that they are the church. There will be daily take-home information, to help you share with your Whizz Kid what it means for us all the be part of the ‘Church Actually!’"

Programme Leader: Sarah Covington

Sarah is based in Sussex but is often found travelling the country in my work as Children Worldwide Development and Events Manager.  This involves anything from working in schools, co-ordinating and running residential and day activities and, for the first time this year, leading Whizz Kids.

Powerpack

Join us for a 'Power-Packed' adventure with God, filled with His Spirit, we want to shine from the inside out. Enjoy exciting stories, great teaching, lively worship, games and crafts, puppets and drama.  Come and be a powerpack in the Crazy Horse to discover amazing things about our Father, His Spirit and His Church.   

Programme Leader: Nick Jackson

Nick is a leader with Powerpack Ministries. He has worked with Powerpack for over 20 years and is expecting God to move powerfully among the children at Spring Harvest. Nick lives in Oxford with his wife Kath and two children, Josie and Ella.
