Compassion Partnership

Since we began, we've been passionate about equipping the church for action in practical, life-changing ways. With equal dedication and commitment, Compassion are committed to specific action to improve the physical and spiritual welfare of vulnerable children across the world. In partnership, we hope to support each other's mission and provide opportunities for the people of God to turn their faith into action at Spring Harvest.

We’re thrilled to be partnering again with Compassion in 2012. Over 1600 children living in poverty were given hope last year as Spring Harvest guests became sponsors and our prayer is that even more children will be lifted out of poverty in 2012 through this life changing programme.

Compassion International’s Senior Advisor and spokesperson of the Live58 movement, Scott Todd will be speaking at Spring Harvest this year, talking passionately about our compelling opportunity to rid the world of extreme poverty in this generation. Another of Compassion’s Ambassadors, Patrick Reagan, who works with urban youth in inner London, is also speaking.

Sponsor a child with Compassion here"Spring Harvest has taken a lead in inspiring Christians to put their faith into action for decades. Compassion is delighted to be assisting guests at this year’s Spring Harvest to do just that – put God’s love into action by helping some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable children. We are looking forward to seeing thousands of lives transformed both in the developing world and right here in the UK."

Wendy Beech-Ward, on the Spring Harvest - Compassion partnership...

Wendy Beech-Ward, Director of Spring Harvest, recently visited Haiti to see the work of Compassion and expressed her excitement in welcoming Compassion back for a second year.

“We're thrilled to be working in partnership with Compassion again this year after such a great event in 2011. This Easter as we look closer at the Church, God’s way of bringing hope to a hurting world, our prayer is that together we can make a real difference in helping people to put God’s call into action.”
