Induction loops

Induction loops will used in most of the main venues, including the Big Top. Some are provided by Spring Harvest, others will be permanent loops installed by Butlins. Details of all loops will be published in the Programme Planner, which is available to buy when you arrive.

Temporary induction loops

In addition, a temporary loop facility may be made available in some venues, subject to demand. If you require this facility, please let us know 24 hours in advance, by visiting the Spring Harvest office on the Resort. We can then establish whether we will be able to provide this at the times you would like.

The Spring Harvest office is shown on a map on the back of our Programme Planner (available on arrival), or any steward will able to give you directions.

BSL interpreters will be available in all Big Top meetings and some othersBSL Interpreters

Interpreters will be available in the Big Top to cover the main Celebrations and the Bible Readings. In 2010, interpretation services will be provided by Signs of God.

The Interpreters may also be able to cover other sessions on request and the best way to arrange this, is to liaise directly with the Interpreting Team who will be in the Big Top before or after sessions. You can also contact the  Spring Harvest Customer Care on arrival. at the Spring Harvest stand in the Skyline.

If you need sign language interpretation, please email Laura West before you arrive, or ring her on 01825 769111 as soon as possible, so we can try to meet your needs. Please be aware that interpreters may not be able to cover all requests.

The Speech to Text service will be available for Big Top sessions at Minehead Week 2: 14-19 April 2011.

Designated seats

Seats are reserved at the front of the Big Top for those who require access to the loop, BSL interpreters and lip readers, and for a hearing friend. In other venues please ask the stewards where you should sit to access the loop.

Our Special Needs Consultants

As well as our Customer Care Team, we also have a Special Needs Consultant at each week who will be pleased to offer more specialised assistance. Please ask at the Spring Harvest stand or the Spring Harvest office if you wish to speak to them.
