Promoting Spring harvest
There are loads of ways to get people interested in going to Spring Harvest and this is a good opportunity to be creative!
It's worth bearing in mind that most people attend events because they know someone who is enthusiastic about it - so one of the best ways to get others interested, is to chat about your experience of Spring Harvest.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Church service
Speak to your leader about having a Spring Harvest slot in your morning service, or even taking a whole service. Why not do this straight after returning from Spring Harvest and ask some of your group to take part and tell about their experiences.
» Check out the resources page for promotional resources to help you
Newsletter
Perhaps include a Spring Harvest slot in your church newsletter - include an advert (see link below), pictures and testimonies from people who have been before. Not only will it help you to get people on board, but you can also use it to keep then informed and enthusiastic in the lead up to the event.

Session recordings
Each year we record hundreds of talks at the Main Event and you can purchase them through from www.EssentialChristian.com. These talks can give a great idea of what to expect at the event.
Special Meeting
This is an excellent way to introduce others to Spring Harvest! Your checklist:
- Choose a convenient time and place - church, home, evening, lunchtime etc
- Announce it in your church notices
- Invite people from other churches to attend
- Invite people who have never been and those who've been before
- Create a Spring Harvest exhibition using posters, brochures and your own photographs from the event. Display copies of the Programme Planner and Learning Guide for people to browse through
- Ask for people to give testimony to their experiences at Spring Harvest
- Use this PowerPoint presentation to explain all about the event
- Play the promotional film about Spring Harvest.
- Explain which Resort and Week you're thinking of attending. Set a goal that gives you the maximum benefit of the free places
- Finish with a time for questions
- Play a Spring Harvest CD when people arrive

Linking with other churches
One
of the unique aspects of Spring Harvest is that it has wide appeal
across all denominations. Ask around and you'll be surprised at how
many other churches or individuals in your area are considering going
to Spring Harvest.
A number of existing Groups are made up of more than one church, and churches are beginning to find a deeper unity being built while they are away together that carries over the rest of the year in their home situation. Linking with other churches can help reduce cost, and help with travel arrangements.
Here to help!
If your presentation is to a large Group, and particularly if you can gather together people from other churches in your area, it may be possible for someone from Spring Harvest to attend the meeting to support you and help answer questions.
