Going Local – SH hits the road

We’re pleased to be on the move, hoping to bring a flavour of Spring Harvest closer to home for many, especially to those who have never been to the main event. During September and October this year, we will be working with local churches to bring a Spring Harvest celebration, with worship and Bible teaching, to venues across the UK mainland.

At each evening, we’ll begin exploring our theme for 2018 – Only the Brave: Determined Discipleship. We’re sure it will be challenging and encouraging to dig into the book of James. We’ll discover the bold choices we are called to make in our every day lives as we seek to honour and follow Jesus. We might not feel brave, but living as his disciples can be the bravest thing we do – costly and rewarding.

We’re really pleased to be hosted by some wonderful congregations. If you are part of one of them, we can’t wait to see you. If you live nearby, come and visit to see how friendly everyone is! Our aim (as always) is that we’ll make space to encounter God, be inspired and grow in confidence in our faith and become agents of transformation in our communities. If you believe in that vision, why not invite someone who hasn’t been to the event for a long time, or ever before?

Leading us in worship at different venues will be Lou Fellingham, Pete James and Cath Woolridge (Sound of Wales). Teaching will come from Krish Kandiah, Cris Rogers, Cathy Madavan, Gav Calver and Sim Dendy. Tickets are be £7 with £5 concessions.

Sign Language Interpretation will be provided in Peterborough only, unless any experienced and willing volunteers come forward for other venues. So if you know a BSL interpreter who lives in one of our tour locations, or if you are one and want to help, do get in touch via info@springharvest.org
