Spring Harvest want children to experience and learn about the love of Jesus in ways that are engaging and relevant for them. Our theme-based programme helps them to grow in their understanding of who God is in lots of different ways, including arts and crafts, Bible stories, drama and plenty of worship.
Volunteering as part of a team under the direction of the Programme Leader and Area Leaders, you will ensure the children have lots of fun and will pick up plenty of ideas to take back to your own church. You’ll be interacting with the children, playing and praying with them, and may even help a child give their life to Jesus.
Why not bring your experience of working with children and your passion for Jesus to help make an eternal impact on young lives. Please see the Role Description below for more details.
If you are accepted on to team, you will receive:
OUR KIDS TEAMS:

Please note, joining the team requires you to be available to attend ALL sessions, every day, for the relevant programme. You will be asked to attend team meetings and be available outside of the programme sessions to help set up and pack away each day. This usually involves an early start!

If you’re not afraid of hard work, and are able to fulfil the physical aspects of this role, you could become one of the unsung heroes of Spring Harvest!
Providing guests with a warm welcome, working as a team to prepare venues, and enabling everyone to participate safely in the programme, this role requires a big heart for serving others and bags of stamina and energy for long hours and physical work.
Being a steward is hugely rewarding and enables you to see something of the Spring Harvest programme whilst you fulfil your role. It is physically demanding, but those who come back year after year do so because of the sense of community and camaraderie that they enjoy from being with others on our stewarding team.

Our vision for the youth programme at Spring Harvest is that young people will encounter God, be inspired by that encounter, and then go home and transform their own lives, their communities and the world! We believe this applies to ALL young people.
All Kid’s and Youth programmes at Spring Harvest have a small, dedicated team who are there to help those with additional needs to access the programme in a way that works for them. Our aim is that every young person will take a step forward in their walk with God at the event. This looks very different for each individual, and our amazing teams help to facilitate this.

It’s God who does the work, but we want to help through solid Bible teaching, creating opportunities for creative prayer and responses, and making space for the Holy Spirit to work in young people’s hearts and minds.
Spring Harvest has 2 youth programmes, 11-16 and 16-18. Our fantastic youth teams are an integral part of what we do and help young people grow in their confidence in God, the Bible and themselves!
