Lead Worshippers for our Main Meeting and Alternative Celebrations
Nick Herbert: Minehead 1MAIN MEETING: Nick is the worship pastor at St Stephens church, Twickenham and is also part of the Worship Central team. He is passionate about the local church and seeing the release of prophetic worship. Some of his co-writes include: God’s Great Dance Floor, Guardian and Jesus Saves.
Tom Smith: Minehead 1MAIN MEETING: Tom Smith heads up the worship team at HTB Church in the heart of London and is part of the Worship Central team. Tom is married to Susi and some of his co-writes include Let It Be Known, Dry Bones & Awesome Is He.
Cath Woolridge: Minehead 1ALTERNATIVE CELEBRATION: Cath is a passionate lady from the valleys of Wales and leads worship at Glenwood church Cardiff. She is also the lead singer in SOW - Sound of Wales and works for Going Public theatre company. She is married to the creative author and actor Dai Woolridge.
Pete James: Minehead 2MAIN MEETING: Pete is a songwriter and worship leader, playing at conferences and festivals in the UK and abroad. He also works alongside his wife Nicola, facilitating leadership communities for churches across Europe. Pete and his family recently moved to the south coast and are based at Kings Church Eastbourne.
Sarah Bird: Minehead 2MAIN MEETING: Sarah is a graduate from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music and continues to work as a freelance musician, involved in both live and studio session work, teaching and writing. She lives in Brighton, is married to Jonny and they are both involved in worship at St. Peters Church.
Sue Rinaldi: Minehead 2ALTERNATIVE CELEBRATION: Sue travels internationally as a concert artist, worship co-ordinator, speaker and creative consultant. A self-confessed info-junkie and gadget enthusiast, her interest in culture, justice, technology and the future fuels her living and writing. Sue has just released her fifth solo album, Ethos.
Becky Frith: Minehead 2ALTERNATIVE CELEBRATION: Becky has been working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for the past 20 years, during which time she has travelled to more than 30 countries; leading worship at seminars, conferences and churches. She is a singer/songwriter, has produced four albums and loves seeing people encouraged through music.
Graham Kendrick: Minehead 3MAIN MEETING: Graham has been described as a ‘father of modern worship music’ and for more than 30 years he has been at the forefront of Christian music in the UK having written and recorded hundreds of songs. Graham is based in the UK and travels internationally as a worship leader, speaker and performer.
Luke Bacon: Minehead 3MAIN MEETING: Luke has been involved in worship leading since his teens, when a lady at church gave him her guitar and encouraged him to get involved. Over a decade on Luke serves as associate minister at Christ Church in Tunbridge Wells where he lives with his wife Becci and their daughter.
Andy Smith: Minehead 3ALTERNATIVE CELEBRATION: Andy is part of the fantastic staff team at Ivy Church in Manchester as creative arts team leader. Ivy is a church movement committed to knowing God, growing together and going out to share how awesome God is! Andy is also a freelance worship leader and illustrator.

Ben Cantelon: SkegnessMAIN MEETING: Ben is originally from Vancouver, Canada and has now lived in the UK for over 10 years. Ben is part of the Worship Central team in London - equipping and resourcing worship leaders and is part of HTB church. His songs include Love Came Down and Happy Day (co-written with Tim Hughes).
Cathy Burton: SkegnessALTERNATIVE CELEBRATION: Cathy is a singer and songwriter, working in acoustic and dance music. She is also a worship leader and, with her family, part of Revelation Church, Chichester. Cathy regularly tours UK churches, partnering with MAF to promote their vital work in the developing world.
Bible Teachers in the Main Meetings
Paula Gooder: Minehead 1Paula is a writer and lecturer in biblical studies. Her research areas are the writings of Paul the apostle (with a particular focus on 2 Corinthians). She is theologian in residence and vice president for the Bible Society, canon theologian of Birmingham Cathedral and visiting lecturer at King's College, London.
Peter Williams: Minehead 2Peter is passionate about the study of the Bible and is currently warden of Tyndale House, Britain’s leading centre for biblical research. He’s on the committee overseeing the English Standard Version and is chair of the International Greek New Testament Project. Peter is married to Kathryn and they have two children.
Malcolm Duncan: Minehead 3Malcolm is leader of Gold Hill Baptist Church as well as founder of Church and Community - a charity that helps Christians to serve others. He is passionate about the local church and has written several books, including 'UNSTOPPABLE: A fresh vision of God and the Church'. Malcolm is chair of the Spring Harvest Planning Group and is a member of the Memralife Board.
Jo Bailey Wells: SkegnessThe Revd Dr Jo Bailey Wells is Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury, an Old Testament teacher, clergy spouse, vocations adviser, mother of tweenagers, author and artist. Previously she worked in Cambridge (Clare College and Ridley Hall) and North Carolina (Duke Divinity School), with sojourns in South Sudan and other hotspots of the Anglican Communion.
Our Bible teaching each morning in the main meeting will focus on this incredible passage of scripture where Paul prays for the Ephesian church; Ephesians 3 v 14-21.
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
