Martha Shrimpton is an actor-musician and presenter who has worked within the arts for a number of years. She is the director of Nimbus Collective, which encourages individuals and churches to connect with God in creative ways by producing resources, hosting events and leading training days.
Phil is the CEO at Essential Christian, overseeing the strategic direction of the charity, with a heart to see the team empowered to go further than they thought possible in equipping the church for action. Previous to this he was head of song publishing for Integrity Music in the UK and then VP/MD of Integrity Music Europe with offices in Brighton, UK and Nashville USA, serving the church globally with worship songs of substance in multiple languages. He is currently a Trustee of the Stuart Hine Trust who look after the world’s favourite hymn “How Great Thou Art’. Phil is also a musician and serves at his local church in Brighton, East Sussex, where he tries to not play too many jazz chords in worship times. He has one wife, two children, but many guitars and keyboards. Which is the right way around.
Mark is Director of Ministry for Cambridge and District Youth for Christ and was previously youth pastor at St Johns Harborne. He is passionate about seeing young people encounter God and be equipped to be life-long disciples. He loves coffee, board games, musicals and a good theology book.
Paul is the leader of New Generation Church in south-east London and serves on the leadership team of Pioneer. Paul is passionate about the local church and has founded a new free school, Hope Community School, in Sidcup. He is a husband, dad and qualified chef.
Sarah is a Pastor at Elim Life Church, in North Birmingham. Sarah leads ELIM Prayer, Elims national ministry for prayer. She loves to inspire people to life transforming prayer, prophecy and intercession. She loves to see people released into all God has for them.
Nick is a songwriter and worship leader, who is part of the Worship Central team. He and his family moved to be part of the church planting team for Gas Street Church in Birmingham alongside lead pastors Tim & Rachel Hughes. He is passionate about seeing encounter in worship and not just that we sing a few songs together!
Lisa is a Baptist Minister with over 25 years experience. She has recently joined the National Team of the Baptist Union of Scotland prioritising caring for ministers and encouraging spiritual formation and discipleship. She’s also part of the Spring Harvest Planning Group and a member of the EA Council.
Cathy is a speaker and author who has been teaching about resilience, relationships and purpose for over 20 years, combining hard-earned wisdom with practicality, honesty, memorable stories and sparkling humour. She lives on the south coast with her husband Mark, who is registered blind. They have been married for over 25 years and are proud parents to two amazing daughters.
Patrick is CEO and co-founder of Kintsugi Hope which came about following a series of personal trials and ill health affecting him and his family. Prior to that, Patrick led urban youth charity, XLP which he also founded in 1996 and ran for 21 years.
Rev Cris Rogers is a Church of England church planter, artist, and Star Wars fan. In 2010 Cris and his family moved to Tower Hamlets, one of the toughest estates in East London, and took on the leadership of All Hallows Bow. Their desire was to restart the church, which had shrunk to seven people, and see people flourish. Cris has a deep passion for discipleship and runs the weekly podcast Making Disciples and wider ministry of Making Disciples which can be found at wearemakingdisciples.com.
