Our Event Support volunteers are the backbone of our setup team for Spring Harvest and are usually found carrying a giant toolbox and wearing a hi-vis jacket!
Help create Spring Harvest from behind the scenes by preparing venues, transporting equipment around the resort and undertaking general construction and maintenance tasks.
You will need to have a practical mind, a full clean driving licence and the ability to turn your hand practically to any DIY task required.
WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING:
Building and dressing stage areas.
Creating and constructing props.
Moving stock and equipment around the site.
Driving around the resort, handling heavy equipment like pallet trucks.
Managing the contents of Spring Harvest’s resort-based storage containers.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
A full clean driving licence
Loads of stamina and physical strength
A practical mind to be able to turn your hand to a myriad of practical tasks.
A big tool box!
Knowledge/experience of using lifting equipment such as pallet trucks.
You will be particularly busy during the setup period and will be required to arrive a couple of days prior to Spring Harvest starting to facilitate this.
You will need to work late into the night on the final evening to help with pack-down.
On the final day you’ll play a key part in packing Spring Harvest away again and won’t leave until after the guests have all gone home.
You will be called upon as required during the event but the operational days tend to be a little quieter.
